Block Lotto - suitable cloth?

For Sophie of Blog Lotto - is this sort of thing ok? I picked these five at random, they're all overdyed and won't run when washed.

    If those are 100% cotton, quilting weight cotton, your hand dyes would be great to use for the lotto blocks.
