I saw today's sketch and it reminded me of early 20th Century Russian avant garde artists like Kasimir Malevich, and their red/black/cream colour schemes. A quick shufty at Google images for Malevich also gave me a layout for an easter card - a skewed cross on an oval or circular background.

I imagine fine art purists would seethe at the comparison, but still, that was the inspiration. I'd forgotten how much I hate window mounting, but matting feels like such a waste of paper...

Materials used:
Plain black craft paper, a selection of papers from a 'fill this plastic box with paper and get the whole lot for 5GBP' show deal - with flowers & grasses laid into them.
