I spent ages and ages printing the light green sugar paper (from that Hobbycraft bargain pack of 500 sheet 9x12 construction paper) with a bargain four spot stamp also from the Hobbycraft easter haul with Versacolour Lime, Fresh Green, Green & Cyan. Then on one half of the paper I overstamped the same stamp with Versacolour White, and the other half with Versacolour Lapis Lazuli. Which gave me a piece of paper with two tones and the same underlying colours.
I used the Lapis Lazuli half for the background, and the White half for the squares. And then mounted the squares on little pads to give a bit of dimension. I can't help thinking it probably needs a sentiment up in the top right corner to balance it out, and now I look at it in daylight I've got stray bits of ink from the edges of the stamp all over the place, but other than that, am really happy with it.It's a 5"x5" card.
